Neil Harvey
Neil is a BAFTA-nominated documentary cameraman who has worked on some of British television’s most prestigious productions, and with some of its brightest talent – including the brainy (Andrew Marr, Simon Schama), the funny (Bill Bailey, Lisa Kudrow), and the absurdly famous (George Michael, Meg Ryan).
But Neil doesn’t just do “names”; he was embedded with British and US forces when they invaded Iraq (‘Life and Death in the War Zone’ and ‘Fighting The War’), infiltrated armed gangs in El Salvador (‘18 With a Bullet’).
While documentary is Neil’s passion, he has recently worked on acclaimed one-off dramas starring, amongst others, David Walliams, Prunella Scales and Andrew Sachs; a field he is looking forward to exploring further.
A graduate from Salisbury College of Art with a degree in Photography, his real training has of course come from an eighteen year career that has encompassed numerous awards and a body of work on which Neil is continuing to build in a constantly evolving production environment.
